NAVIGATING THE EPA MANDATED REFRIGERANT TRANSITION
The HVAC industry is transitioning to new refrigerants, largely due to environmental regulations aimed at reducing global warming potential (GWP). Starting in 2025, manufacturers are phasing out refrigerants with high GWPs, like R-410A, and are shifting towards low-GWP options, primarily A2L refrigerants.
Here, you will learn what is needed to make the transition seamless for your property and tips to avoid shortages and pitfalls, presented by Matt Trotter.
