Now let's shift the focus on a few of the local races that will have an impact on the apartment industry. Starting with Fort Myers, Mayor Kevin Anderson succeeded in his re-election bid with 79.41% of the vote while the Collier County Commission will have two new members Chris Hall and Dan Kowal replacing outgoing Commissioners Andy Solis and Penny Taylor. The Southwest Florida Apartment Association looks forward to working with the re-elected and newly elected officials to continue the meaningful discussion on the apartment industry.
